Gary V. Skiba

Gary V. Skiba joined Marsh Schaaf, LLP, as a partner after practicing for over 45 years in Northwestern Pennsylvania.  Attorney Skiba practices in the areas of bankruptcy, and commercial law and litigation, wills, estates and real estate.    He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He was previously a partner with the law firm of Yochim, Skiba, and Nash in Erie.

Gary served as a trustee in numerous bankruptcy cases and has represented many individuals and businesses in Chapter 7 and  in reorganizations under Chapter 13, Chapter 12 (for farms) and Chapter 11 (for businesses).   Civil litigation has extended to Erie, Elk and  Crawford Counties.  He served as president of the board of Better Homes for Erie for many years, has been involved in committees and activities of the Erie County Bar Association, and is presently a member of the Board of Directors of WQLN Public Media.
