Overview
Eugene C. Sundberg, Jr. has been proudly practicing law with the Marsh law firm for well over 30 years. Gene started as a title searcher during the summer months of his college years, working alongside his grandfather, Attorney James E. Marsh, and has been practicing law with his uncles, Ritchie T. Marsh and James E. Marsh, Jr., along with his brother, Kurt L. Sundberg.
Real Estate: Gene represents and counsels individuals, business entities, and various lending institutions in a wide variety of real estate matters. His real estate services include negotiating and drafting purchase/sales agreements, leases, and land sale contracts, along with drafting financing documentation for banks and lending institutions, in addition to acting as a settlement agent for residential and commercial real estate transactions. Attorney Sundberg is an approved attorney with Penn Attorneys Title Insurance Company and is an active member with the Pennsylvania Land Title Association.
Litigation: Gene has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts, where he has tried cases to verdict throughout northwestern Pennsylvania. As a litigator, Gene has received the highest rating for both legal ability and ethics: A-V Preeminent® Peer Review Rating (Martindale-Hubbell) by lawyers and judges throughout the greater Erie, Pennsylvania, area. He has argued before the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Board of Property, located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Estates: Gene has also provided extensive help and guidance to clients in the preparation of wills, durable powers of attorney, living wills/medical directives, and the administration of estates.
